Prices for each job will be vary depending on word count, type of writing, amount of time I anticipate the project to take, and any consultation time (either in person or via Skype). Writing services include:

Audio transcription is available for single speaker files, interviews, focus groups and other file types upon request. Prices vary by file type, file difficulty and length, but a standard, cleaned-up verbatim transcription costs $1.00 per minute of audio for any turnaround after 25 hours, or $1.50 per audio minute for a 24-hour turnaround. All files include timestamps unless otherwise requested. Prices increase if the audio file is particularly challenging or if there is heavy background noise, but audio will be previewed prior to transcription and this change in price will be reflected in the initial cost.
In addition to my own base of individual clientele, I have also contributed transcription and QA services to Rolling Stone, Men’s Journal, Groupon, Dropbox, AOL, and many others.
Available transcription formats include:
Cleaned-up Verbatim: As spoken with crutch words, stutters, false starts and filler words (uh/um, etc.) omitted for both Interviewer/Moderator (if applicable) and Speaker(s)/Respondent(s).
Full Verbatim: Exactly as spoken. All crutch words, stutters, false starts and filler words included for both Interviewer/Moderator (if applicable) and Speaker(s)/Respondent(s).
Interviewer Summarized: Speaker(s)/Respondent(s) are transcribed in Clean-Up Verbatim format, but all questions from the Interviewer/Moderator are summarized and/or combined.
Video closed captioning and subtitling is available for YouTube, Vimeo, and other .mp4/.wma formatted videos. Prices vary by file difficulty and length, but the standard rate for video captioning $1.50 per minute of audio/video for a 48-hour turnaround, or $2.00 per audio minute for a 24-hour turnaround.
Base rates for editing include grammar, punctuation, word use, spelling errors, clarity editing, style questions, recommendations, and commentary. Rates are dependent on the type of work, subject, and degree of difficulty/amount of time the project requires (inquire for my hourly rate). Editing services include:
